Default Evolution GT35 problems.

EDIT// Never mind. After I got over my frustration and went back out to pop off the cowl and start pulling the ignition I found the problem... ignition probe wires melted to the exhaust.

This is my first gas engine I have tried to use. I also have a Zenoah G-38 but it was to big, physically, to fir my 1/4 Cap 232. So the GT35 seemed to be what I needed. I have run the engine. I even got part of a flight out of it but it went dead stick at the top of my first loop. I got the plane down in one peice. My buddy and I started the engine back up right away after touch down then took it back home without another flight. Now trying to get it ready for tomorrow I can't get it to fire. At first my LED light would do the normal blip when I turn on the ignition then I would comence to flipping. I think I put 500 rotations/hour on it but that's it. I have the old 4.8v ignition as I got this engine used here on RCU but the seller sent a 7.4v Li-Po with the engine... After some hours of fiddling and flipping I noticed the LED light was steady on... I think this means my battery was dead. I put a charged 4.8v in and the light went back to just one blip when I power up the ignition. I know it is getting fuel since I can wipe it off the choke plate but I can not verify spark. I understand these ignitions were replaced for a newer version and I am beginning to wonder if there was a reason for that Any help from the experience here will be welcomed and apreciated.

Stang you are sorta screwed, these engines aren't any good. i have a thread in here on the Evolution 26cc and it won't run, under warranty, treated like dirt by tech support and have the same problem as you.
