Hanging by the stab??
I need to find a way to store my gas planes in my garage. The easiest way to do this, is to hang them by the stab vertically. Is there a problem with this? I know it's not recommended with 2 cycle engines, as oil can leak through the front bearing, but I can't really forsee a problem with my G-62"s unless I hear differently. Thanks in advance..........
P.S. I always drain the fuel after flying.......

Hanging by the stab??
John,
I don't see a reason why not, so long as the stab support is well padded. I hang mine from the garage rafters.
You could always let me store it ... I would only fly it a little, I promise. <G>

Thanks for the reply. I got bike racks from Lowes at $4.95 each. They are very heavy duty, and then I used foam pipe insulation on the brackets. Works great..........
