I'm currently running a Beila 24X12X3 on my Hangar Edge and DA100. While it does great for sport and IMAC style flying and I originally went to it to "tame" the DA100 down a bit. Now I want to get a little more "Umph" out of the DA. It would be simple enough to just go back to a Menz 27X10 but I love the look of the Beila prop. My question is this. Does the Beila 27X10X2 perform like the Menz 27X10X2 or do I need to use a different size and/or pitch?

I would agree,
All of the Biela sizes that I have flown or currently fly (23, 24, 26 and 28 two and three bladers) all load significantly higher than any of their same size wood counterparts.
And as strange as it is to get used to, the I comes before the E

The DA 100 should be able to spin a Biela 27x10 correctly. If you already have the MenzS 27x10, use it. I never liked MenzS props but thats just me.

The Biela 27x10 is pretty similar in load to a Menz-S 27x10. I have used both on my 3W-106. The flying characteristics are a little different, both fly the plane well. Either would be an excellent prop to use with a DA-100, expect ground rpm around 6300-6500.
