Hello

I'm in the process of mounting my ignition for my Evolution 58 GX2. Typically I wrap the ignition in foam and zipp tie to the side of the firewall.
I noticed this new GX2 ignition has mounting lugs with grommets. Can I put screws through them and sandwich 1/2 foam between the ignition
and firewall, allowing the ignition to float on the foam? how are others mounting these new ignitions??

Hi Carlos

I bolted mine to the side of the engine box with locknuts on the bolts so they don't have to be tight just snugged up, no problems so far.
