Default 3W35 problems

I have an older 3W 35cc gas engine that was running fine a few weeks ago, but now it will only start in short bursts like when being choked.I put in a new carb kit and still the same result, then I sent the ignition module back to 3W for an inspection and all was well.I have new gas and the plumbing is fine also. Ign module requires a 4.8v battery pack and the one I am using is @ 5.1v. I have a new spark plug also ..exactly like the factory plug. Any suggestions, or do I need a new carb?....Thanks...Kev

Did you check the internal screen in the carb to see if it was plugged?

I would send it to Aircraft International. They will fix it and likely get it back out the same day, with a detailed explanation of what they found, by phone.

I was thinking about that, but I'm going to try to get a new carb for it first if it is still available...Thanks

I like their service work and communication, plus they are fast. I don't tinker with 3W engines anymore. I will send it off and spend my time on the airframes and other things. If you send it on a Monday, good chance you will have it back, and running good, for the week end.
