Default help with over heating carb

I need a carb manifold that bolts straight through with out a pump hole.I was going to make one but I think it would be easier to bolt one on, like one that may go to something else.the carb is standard walbro but a big bore for a 60cc .what do you think will work and what is it to?

Default help with over heating carb

I am confused. How will the lack of a pump hole keep the carb from overheating?

I do not have a manifold now just metal to metal and the pump hole does not need to be there because it has a taped case for pressure.

Go to your local saw shop with the carb. Doesn't matter if it has a hole or not. they'll probably give you one off an old junker if you tell them what it's for.

I called a plastic shop in portland and they had some phenolic in 1/2 inch thickness so I made one from that ,I dont know how it will hold up to the fuel but man, there is no heat transfer anymore,I mean zero, nada, zilch.

well now you know why you see what is sometimes called an
"intermediate flange" and the phenolic will work fine.
