G20 spark plug gaps.

I have searched the Zenoah manuals but can find no mention of a spark plug gap. I have been using a gap of .026" on my CH ignition G20 which seem to work well, but would like to know what the gap ought to be or optimum performance.

The manual that came with my G20EI does not list the gap. I found it in the Tony Clark instructions on his web site:
"The ZG 20 is supplied with a Champion Y82. Correct gap is 0,5 mm. Use no other type of
plug. The NGK CM6 may look similar from the outside but is completely different!!!"

I have both plugs and when you look at the electrodes the Y82 has more porcelan going towards the gap than the CM6. So I am not certain if the Y82 is a little hotter than the CM6? Seeing how there is more porcelan I would think it would retain more heat. Any experts out here?

It is quite possible that manufacturers plugs might differ somewhat in appearance and still have very similar heat ranges. Would be great if someone knowledge on the topic could chip in and throw some light on this.
