Default Ignition failure copperhead

A few months back I sent my fuji 64 to Ralph to get the atomatic advance ignition installed and the crank fixed. since then
I have ran the engine almost 1 hour and perfectly with no problems, but last time I went to fly the engine dint want to start and a closer inspection
reveled that my ignition was not working. there is no ignition spark coming from the silver box. my batt is charged and the spark is not jumping somewere else.

Is there a way to diagnose what the problem is, like mabey the pick up magnet or some thing how can I diagnose this problem?

Thanks

Have you considered calling the person the provided the ignition? That's not a Ralph Cunningham ignition so I'm curious how that one was obtained.

My Zenoah Gt-74 twin conversion from Ralph came with a Copperhead ignition. Just the std Chinese Rcxl (or whatever it is called) with the Copperhead sticker on it. I think he uses some of these from time to time when a separate ignition box is called for. Cheaper too!!!

OK, sounds like he's calling them Copperhead. No big. A phone call often (generally) works a lot faster than an e-mail there, especially if you are using his old e-mail addy or the website. He guarantees his ignitions for life, so give him a call.

Relaying some information from Ralph.

Since I will never again sign up at RCU, you might enlighten some of them....
I made my own ignition circuits for 18 years...Lifetime guarantee...When the last 100 or so toroid coils had problems I started using C&H circuits, same guarantee...When C&H and Copperhead tested and found RC EXL ignitions to be as good as C&H, I bought a few from C&H, and a few from Copperhead....They are the same product with their respective names on the box.....Same guarantee...The ignition on Pape's Fuji 64 was bought from Tim at Copperhead before I got mine directly from RC EXL....Copperhead and C&H pay RC EXL to put their name on the box, I don't ...Mine have a serial number on a small tag on the box, RAL and a number sequence..Same exact circuit....
I have no way to answer a PM on RCU and never will...I have a website, some of the RCU people have been on there, Pe Reivers and Captin John and a few others....Pat has put my phone number on RCU, so anyone who wants to get in touch can either phone or use the website...It will be interesting to see of Copperhead will trade me a good ignition for the one that....I will fix the Fuji either way,....Pape should know that problems can't always be diagnosed on the phone, if he sends me the Fuji it WILL be fixed free....
You can put this on RCU if you want to, any part or all...Thanks, RC, the other Ralph
