I purchased a CRRC ProGF26I engine from valleyviewrc.com. It would not run properly when I received it. Tom sent out a new ignition but it still did not cure the problem so he told me to return the motor to him so he could check it out. After returning it to him, he now wants me to pay him $112.90 for repairs on a new engine. I was trying to run this motor on white gas just as I do on all my other gas engines. Tom now informs me that using white gas voided the warranty. He said page 5 of the instructions says to use High octane gas but it does not forbid the use of any other gas. The parts he replaced on the engine were not internal, they were electronic so there is no way this fuel or any other fuel could damage electronics. He said if I didn’t pay him within 30 days, he was going to sell my motor.
Just a word to the wise, stay away from valleyviewrc.com unless you want to get screwed. He is selling these engines on his website and also here on RCUniverse.com

I saw page 5 and i agree with you. It seems as if you only have one choice to pay the bill and hope the engine works or give up and get a new one from a company that won't hurt you. Sorry to hear your problem. It hurts all of us that is the business. Dennis
