Default Help - need small spark plugs

I'm trying to cram a D&B 3.7 twin into the cowl of a Carden 30% Extra 300. The problem is the spark plugs are rubbing against the cowl, and won't let the cowl fit properly.

I've got NGK-CM6 plugs now, but could use another 1/8" of clearance. Does anyone make smaller plugs? I need some - bad!

Help!

C&H has small plugs, 1/4-32 thread..You will need adapters for the cylinders and new spark plug wires..the plug wires are just like glow plug lighters, push down and turn to lock on...You will have to adapt the plug wires to the D&B igniton, which is encapsulated into the mount...$$$$$
Way easier to cut some small holes in the cowl....

It runs about $80 plus labor to convert ignition to 1/4x32. Dremel sure sounds better.

What kind of boots are on the engine? Couldn't they be modified with a dremel to give you another 1/8"? Got any pics?

Default A "Trick" Way...

Call Up Stans FiberTech and talk to him about his "cowl blisters". You can cut a hole and glue on these cowl blisters so they clear the plugs, and the holes won't show.
