Brought a new Moki360 with a Runtronic ignition system. Could not get it to run with ignition on glow so ran the motor in on Glow and Methanol. Now with 5lts (1.5 Gal) through it it starts first or second flick by hand consistently.
Thought I would now revisit the ignition system now that I know the motor is run in and also I now have that bit more experience with it. No Luck - technical data says to set it up with the magnets opposite each other at TDC with this setting all I can achieve is backfiring through the carburetor. Three of us spent two hours at the field today and the longest run was no more than 30sec.
Does anyone out there have experience in setting these motors up for ignition on glow.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem with a G-45 when I adapted it to ignition. It turned out the ignition need to be set to 28 degrees BTDC. You might try that. Be careful with your fingers - use a starter.
