I have the MVVS 35cc gasser and I love it's Automatic Choke Release, so if your carb has the Automatic Choke Release I can help you,,
after setup~ if you can get a finger to the choke lever threw the front (or even side) of your plane's cowl I can tell you how to set the Automatic Choke Release to start your motor on the first/2nd flip after the POP,, it may sound a bit complicated at first but once you do it 2 or 3 time it's slick, your motor starts right up every time? first 2nd flip,,
NOTE,,
on the Automatic Choke Release carbs "with the choke closed and the Automatic Choke Release set" the Choke's Butterfly can be pushed open yet the linkage will still stay set to Automatic Release,, so the trick we are trying to achieve for a quick start is to open the Choke's Butterfly just a bit yet keep the Choke Release set to Automatic so when the motor starts you just bump the Throttle Stick enough to release the Choke Linkage and open the Choke's Butterfly completely,,
so you setup your Throttle Linkage as normal,,
so the following Starting Procedure is possible,,
1) (with the plane ready for flight) (Ignition off) (receiver on) you first lower the Throttle Stick and Idle Trim all the way down, you reach in with a finger and hold down the Choke Lever so the Choke closes completely, then as you hold the Choke Lever you raise the Idle Trim to set the Automatic Choke Release,,
2) (Ignition off) now you flip your prop till the front of the carb is wet or till you hear the motor start to Hiss,,
3) turn Ignition on and flip prop till the motor POPs once,, this should take 4 or 5 flips,,
4A) now you use a screwdriver or piece of plastic to push open the Choke's Butterfly about 1/8 inch maybe 3/16,,
4B NOTE) at this point the Automatic Choke Release is still set and the Butter fly is opened just enough to let the motor get air,,
5A) (ignition on) flip to start, it should start on the first or 2nd flip, it may take more flips cause it has not been tuned yet !!!
5B) as soon as the motor pops to live you snap open the Throttle just a bit to release the Automatic Choke Release,, at that point your motor should stay running !!
use synthetic oil !!
it may sound like a lot but after you try this Procedure just a few time it works slick !!

here's a picture of my original setup. With the linkage attached this way I had problems getting a reliable idle so I moved the attachment point to the lower part of the arm where the red dot is. I also cut off the idle screw b/c I like to be able to kill the motor with my throttle cut off on the radio. I have not ever figured out a way to attach to the choke, I just close it by hand to prime the engine, then crank with no choke on.
