RE: 80cc gasser
Brillelli just released their new 80 cc 466GT, I'm not sure on the price, but their 60cc 366GT was ~$610 to my door. The customer support is the best in the business.

Will this one do? http://www.kangkeusa.com/Gas%20Engines/Brison5_8.htm
It is a 95cc though, but isn't one of the other engine manufacturers you asked about.
To be honest the only way to get an 80cc cheaper than the DA, ZDZ, or 3W would be to buy used.
I think the Brillelli is in the $680 range IIRC.
**edit** I just remembered the Evo, http://forgues-research.com/page8.html . These are beautiful engines and the manufacturer has decades of experience building racing motorcycle engines.

MVVS are about to release their 80 ... and no doubt Horizon will have the re-badged Evolution variant ..
Here is a link to a photo ...

Looks like an upscaled version of the 58 ... should be good

RE: 80cc gasser
Yeah, what Donnie said. The weight of the 90 is about 3 more ounces than a 3W80XI I have. I have never seen an engine idle so smooth at 1200 rpm as the Torch.
We will be flying it next weekend on the 35% Extra to get some flight time on it.
A USA dealership and service center is being set up as we speak. I got mine for under 7 bills and think that the introductory price will be the same.
