Default BME 102 and the Vess, what size?

At our field there is a composite Extra with the BME 102 on factory mufflers. Scott has the 28X10 Mejzlik prop. To get a little more breaking on landing he would like to try a different prop. I suggest the Vess 28XA. But in doing a search of some old posts I think that the 28XA may be a but much. Perhaps the 26XB would be a better choice. Has anyone tried the Vess on the 102?

I'd go with a 27". A or B is something you should talk to Vess about. A friend cooked a cylinder off using a "B" prop on a 115, but that was largely his fault since he did not re-tune when he changed to the Vess prop.
