PROBLEM SOLVED!! PLEASE CLOSE THREAD.Hi there, I would appreciate ANY input on why this engine won't idle.
I bought a new 1/3 scale laser 200 with a new G 62, new tank and lines.
I have gone through and put in new lines, throughout...the tank is about 8" behind the back of the engine. I run 32/1 fuel mixture.
My problem is, I have to choke this engine to get it to start every time, I've set the high end a little rich, and it runs GREAT MID AND HIGH, BUT NO MATTER HOW FAR THE LOW NEEDLE IS OUT, IT WON'T IDLE. I can choke it about 1/4 and it will idle, but the minute I open it it dies.
This the 3RD new g62 I've tried, and they all have the same problem. I've tried a different tank assembly, letting the engine warm up for about 5-6 minutes, re-setting the mag gap, a new spark plug, NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK!! If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
My altitude is 5600 ft
