Default Lipo for G20EI Ignition Battery Help

I am new to Lipos and would like to try a MaxAmps 3000HV 3.7v lipo for my G20EI ignition battery. It looks like I would need to solder a heavy duty Futaba battery connector to the lipo tabs and use a switch harness to connect it to the ignition pack. Am I on the right track here or is there more to it? Any suggestions from the experienced modelers that have done this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...Brian
