I recently bought a used 3W 80 inline twin with 2 carbs, and have put it in a Roamin Research Mig 3.... the cylinders are so close together, that there is no way to keep the hot air from the front cylinder going over the rear... as a result, my front cylinder is running about 200 degrees, and the rear about 325!! anybody out there using one of these, and have any advice?

Hi,
I agree with tkg...the 4 cylinder boxers were the same way. The bafflers must be setup to force air over both cylinders, but separately. That is not at all uncommon. Even the full scale engines have baffles to prevent this.
