I've just acquired a Quadra 50 to put on a 40% Pietenpol Scout. Unfortunately it came with out an ignition system and muffler. Does anyone know where I can get such items as well as the instruction /parts manual ??Thanks, Don

When the plug wire on my Q52 ingition module broke, I replaced the whole module with one off of a 25cc Homelite weed-wacker. It fits and works perfectly. I lost a $50 smoke muffler off the same engine and hit up the old weedie again. Took the guts out of the 25cc muffler, the bolt holes lined up nicely, brazed some pipes and smoke coil to it, and voila! It's not as pretty and is a little loud but works great.

can you recomend me which kind of oil to use on the Q52? as well as oil:fuel ratio?
what plug to use except the RC8J - any NBK or DENSO?
