Achilles,

If it sugguests a 45cc gas engine I would use the new XYZ-50. It is light at 3lbs 10oz and and is the same size as a Zenoah G45. It comes with everything you need(Engine, EI, & muffler) for $250.00. Here is a link to the engine flying my Skyshark P-40N that weigh's 21lbs. I think it will make a very good engine for a SBD Dauntless.

You can find the engine at www.southeastrcengine.com

Enjoy

Electronic is the way to go. Less weight and easier starting. Remember a lighter plane always fly's better.

hi guys,
thanks you all for any info you suply.
i made a research in these days ang i have a few questions abut zenoah g45. how can i mount this engine? i see that there isn t any mount for this engine. i am not sure. do you guys know any place to look for mounting options?
also, nobody suggests fuji .why?

the only reason for thinking these two brands is that i live in greece and i have problems with any part or accesory i need. i think that zenoas and fuji is easiest to find parts for if i need something.
can you suggest any webstore for zenoah?i found a few but always there is a posibility of better sinse i am not familiar with that kind of equipment.

thanks!!!

The best place for Zenoah that I know of is Horizon Hobbies. I have a Fuji 43 EI and it is a good engine, but it is a little heavy in my option for is size. It is a good running engine.

Good luck.

When in Greece, you either have to pay import duties (if you buy in USA etc, ) Or you have to pay VAT instead of import duties. So it will make no difference to you. You can buy in the many Europe webstores, or from webstores outside Europe. All will try to serve you well.
