where to mount a cdi ignition unit.

Hi guys
I have a 46cc petrol engine that is going into my new model , iam new to petrols/gassers but have done a ton of glow motor running
I would like to know where i should mount the cdi ignition unit ( as fare a way from servos , receivers or batterys etc) iam running
at Jr x9303 2.4ghz radio if the helps
Any help would be great

If you have room, mount it on the side of the engine block and put the battery on the other side, Use Velcro and pull ties to mount it. Do not hard mount with screws.

Velcro mountings are very effective in protecting your equipment. So is foam mounting, though it has the drawback of less cooling.
Learn how to handle vibration prone applications. Learn how to live with, and prevent radio interferance. Learn about mufflers and carb tuning. Once you do all that, you'll never look back.
