Hi all, can anyone tell me what Spark plug to use with my CRRC Pro 50cc gas engine, it came fitted with a Chinese plug but i heard they are no good and can cause interference problems. I am after an NGK or Champion, but need to know the number.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi Mr Lizzy
I have a Crrcpro 45, my mate has the 50 and we use the "so called crappy Jen Feng chinese plug" and they run like a swiss watch.
Run the plug gap at about .6mm (22thou) and it will run fine.
My suggestion is to run the engine before changing anything, the engines work fine and are very good value.
We have a lot of Crrc pro 45's and 50's at our club using the original plug.
Unfortunately there is a lot of "chinaphobia" out there.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Paul

The NGK to suit is a BMR6F.
I've been using the one supplied with the engine and it works fine.
Give it a go before you through it out.

Thanks for all your help,i have heard very good things about these engines. The post i read about the spark plug giving iterference problems, was one of the early posts on the GF45 engine which seemed to have quite a few problems when they first appeared.
I am new to petrol engines and it is nice to have somewhere to turn to if in doubt, so again thanks.
Cheers Mr Lizzy
