Let's get Chas his money so he SHUTS THE HELL UP!
Alright Hank, PM me and I'll give you a mailing addy. In the event you did back up your statement it would spare Scott the lawsuit that I've filed against his company and person. I would think Scott might appreciate that from you.

Oh, I almost forgot! I'll bet there's a public library there in Avon where someone could get "on-line" and answer e-mails and get in touch with customers. Whaddya think?

Loopman
SO TRUE AND SO SIMPLE. NO EXCUSE FOR IGNORING PAYING CUSTOMERS.

Loopman,

Don't waste your time trying to explain how business workss. Scott ignores paying customers and uses every excuse in the world to justify it. They like him for doing so.

Alright Hank, PM me and I'll give you a mailing addy. I'm going to predict you're just ALL TALK and not willing to back up your statement. In the event you did back up your statement it would spare Scott the lawsuit that I've filed against his company and person. I would think Scott might appreciate that from you. But you're just talk aren't cha?
You quote pappy35 and use my name in your post. What are you talking about? My post had nothing to do with you or any lawsuit you may have in mind.

But, while we are at it, I don't believe anyone is out more than a few hundred bucks here. I cannot believe anyone would bother with a lawsuit over this small an amount. Besides, there are just too many extenuating circumstances, unless you are just out for your pound of flesh. Why not let things run their course and see what happens. Life is too short for this kind of nonsense.

Loopman.. correct me if I am wrong.. but you got from Scott what you wanted didn't you?

He will make a statement.. but there are reasons why he isn't yet. So stop stirring the pot for no reason. There are tons of manufacturers who don't even step on these forums period.. as far as I am concerned we are privledged to have them on the forum to help when they do.
Loopman is not stirring up the pot for no good reason. He has a right to say whatever he wants. It's called freedom of speech.

There is no good reason to ignore customers for months on end, period.

So Hank,

Is that a "NO"?

Stirring the pot!!!!!!!! You guys crack me up. Here is a guy that takes money from customers, keeps it, and doesn’t return calls or e-mails. There is no excuse for this. I am sure he knows someone with a PC that he could have used or could have gone to the library. He may have been a nice guy but he has screwed his customers! He is the one that should be on this forum making it right! George
AMEN TO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been one of Scott's customers from his early days when he was modifying the Toro 25 cc engines. I have purchased several engines from him and have always received a great procuct at a low price while getting great service. Yes, I also have one of my engines in his shop awaiting repair and I may or may not receive it back. I'm sure Scott will try his best to fix anything he can. Guys like Scott are wonderful assets for us in the RC community and should be respected as such. Blasting a guy that is having problems does not help him or anyone else. If we chose to do business with a one man show, it should be understood that something could go wrong and we just may be out of luck. However, it is the one man shows such as Scott, Ralph Cunningham and others that provide some of the best quality products at the best price. So as for me, I will continue to run the risk of doing business with one man shows and small business because it benefits our hobby. If Scott somehow can get back on his feet, I would be happy to remain his customer. Scott has worked his tail off, made very little if any money and the thanks he gets is kicks in the butt. Sorry but, I just can't see taking our frustrations out on a guy that has worked so hard and is having difficulty. Jake, thanks for passing on the information from Scott. That means a lot to me. If you communicate with him again, please let him know that many of us are pulling for him. I am retired and don't have buckets of money to spare but let me know if there is any little thing I can do to help.

Best wishes and good safe flying.

Speaking gettting what you want from Scott....Jake dont' you get free engines from Scott? So naturally you are gonna defend the guy at all costs. Problem is you're running interference for Scott just long enough for him to file bankruptcy, and that way no one gets their money back, EVER.
Hrmm let's backup a sec...

#1 I was a sponsored pilot since last Oct... didn't hide that.

#2 I received 1 46 to do an review with much like other reviewers.. I also recieved a 26 for testing when they first came out and then sent it back when there was a part shortage so a paying customer could get one since mine had 3 tanks on it.

#3 I started this thread to share what I knew to help all those with questions and concerns.

#4 Whether or not Scott files bankruptcy or not is irrivant.. he doesn't have the money to give right now period. It just that simple. If that happens on a personal level than so be it... the point is he has no intension of ripping people off plain and simple.

You really need to get control of your temper a bit and open your eyes to whats being said.

This thread has gone on longer than it should have. I just cleaned up some name calling and useless taunts. It is time to lock this up and move on to other things.
