Default Evolution 58 & P-40

I just purchased a Yellow aircraft P-40 & a Evolution 58GX2 and waiting shipment.I'am wondering What would be the best 3 blade prop for this combination. The plane will weigh approx. 26 to 28 lbs. any ideas or thoughts on this combo and just general thoughts on the evo eng. would be appreciated.

thanks Bob

Default RE: Evolution 58 & P-40

Bob

I have the MVVS 58 Pro and this turns a Brilei 24 x 10 three blade at 6950 rpm, on a 22 x 10 Mejlik I chickend out at 7800rpm and did not open the throttle fully, the pro is very powerfull, how much more powerful than the standard I am afraid I don't know, but if you go to Pe Reivers web site (mvvs.nl) you will see some very interesting compaison tests with different props and cannisters.

In case you did not know the Evolution range of engines are made by MVVS in the Czech Replic for Horizon Hobbies, Evo engines are made in Spain by a non related company.

Mike
