Default Porpeller mounting orientation

I'm a newbie to gassers. What is the correct method to install a multi-hole propeller on the engine. Should drilling be done such that the prop can be installed when the piston is at TDC? Should it be installed @ 2/8 o'clock? Does it really matter?

Doesn't really matter, but straight across with the piston at TDC will keep the prop from breaking if you have to land dead stick and bounce a little...

With the G62 the instructions specify aligning the prop with the cutouts in the prop hub. Skip

Normally you mount the prop at the 2/8 o'clock position with the piston at tdc. This is the best position for hand starting the motor. It also aids in the prop stopping between the 2 and 4 o'clock preventing a prop hit on landing. Everything should be fine!
