We tested the BME 50 with a Pro Zinger 22-8. This is the first time this engine has been ran. Started very easy. Runs very smooth. Great throttle response. It is mounted on a Sig Sukhoi. Wings wobble a little at idle. We got 7160 rpm and I hooked the fish scale to the tail and we got an average of 25lbs of thrust. Not bad for a brand new engine. Here are some pictures of the plane.

DONT HAVE ANY PICTURES OR THRUST MEASUREMENTS, BUT I JUST STARTED MY 2.4 FOX GASSER. CLOSED THE CHOKE, TURNED ON THE IGNITION, FLIPPED THE 20X8 MEZJLIK PROP TILL THE ENGINE POPPED, OPENED THE CHOKE, FLIPPED THE PROP 3 TIMES AND THE ENGINE FIRED. IT IDLED FOR A COUPLE MINUTES, THEN GAVE IT HALF THROTTLE. THE VAILLY AVIATION L-5 STARTED TO ROLL. GRABBED IT AND GAVE THE ENGINE FULL THROTTLE. IT TACKED 7200 AFTER RUNNINGLESS THAN FIVE MINUTES. IT IDLED 1750. FOX ENGINES ARE WORTH LOOKING INTO. C&H IGNITION,BUILT IN MOTOR MOUNT, AND VERY SMOOTH RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. THEY ARE ALS VERY LIGHT. WWW.FOXMANUFACTURING.COM CLICK ON WOW. THE TWINS ARE AWESOME TOO.

I have a fox 2.4 that I have had for a year. I agree it is very powerfull. I just put a 21-8 Mezjlik on it. I was getting 7650rpm out of a 20-8 Zinger Pro. For the same price and and a few oz. more you can get about 5-7 more lbs of thrust.
