Folks, has anybody seen ready made engine mounts for the DA-85?
DA Recommends not to use standoffs and other types of spacers, but thave this thing bolted to a solid surface, or ply rings. This is probably because this engine shakes so much...
I've seen people like SWB make nice metal engine mounts for DA-100, 157, 3W, etc. They seem to have nothing for the 85.

I used the PAU mount on my H9 Edge I did have to cut an extra pice or two for it to make it a smidge longer, but it holds the engine rock solid and vibrates much less than the previous mount. I have a mill and lathe and have found most people will not pay the costs to make machined items.
Been there done that already, still make custom parts for the people that really want it.
They want it for the cost of very cheap labor, like almost free. I was charging $20/hr + costs and that made most kring.
Been making parts since I was in grade school (60's). My dad was a millwright machinist by trade.
