close up view of can and special landing gear - I used 3/16" dia music wire -bound at bottom and spread at top - the covering is high shrink heat shrink tubing.
The gear weighs 8.8 ounces.
It is much less expensive than aluminum and takes up shock loads better than aluminum or CF-
If it is badly damaged the replacement cost is under 8 bucks.

it is a ZDZ60 w/ WJ38A carb-my addition
