Zenoah 26EI ...fit into a Balsa USA 1/4 Cub?
Hi All.
Planning on purchasing the Zenoah 26 with electronic Ignition for my 1/4 Scale Balsa USA Cub. May be a bit overpowered but also plan on flying it on floats later so I figure the extra power margin may prove to be handy.
Anyway has anyone got experience with how well the new Z26 fits in within the cowl outline ( preferably I'd like to keep it all hidden ), to do so does it need an afterrmarket muffler? Also if anyone can direct me to a 3 veiw of the motor with dimensions that would be great.
Thank you very much in antipation....regards Dino

I don't think it would be hidden. I went with the SV 26 from RCShowcase because of the rear carb and pitts muffler. It's going into a Carl Goldberg Ultimate. The G26's carb would have stuck out the side. Muffler too, probaly. I bet the Cub's cowl is narrower.

Check out Tony Clarks website. He has what you may need for a narrow cowl J3. http://www.toni-clark.com/index_en.htm Best Regards, Capt,n
