I have this switch in two airplanes, no problems. Like the LED for on ignition.

I have had the same 42% switch in 5 different frames in a year,mine has been durable and a great safty feature,i rely on it alot.

you did not mention the 42 percent product? i cant answer on your two choices.
i like at the bottom of the paper that came with my 42 percent where it says "if your product fails for any reason Crash included, simply return it to us or your dealer for a free replacement...." not that i have had to. it went in nose first on a plane that hit hard enough it ripped the carb right out of the bolts. it keeps on ticking...
