I've got a newer Brison 2.4 (electronic timing control) and it is one of my best engines. It ranks right up there with my DA's on power, reliability, and throttle response. The Brison is very different from my 3W's, which are extremely difficult to tune. The difference I found was that the Brison was more difficult to break in than a DA; it was difficult to tune during break in. Once broken in, it is very forgiving on carb needle settings. This is one of my few motors that I trust for hovers at the end of the runway at the end of a take-off.
