If you dont have any luck elsewhere Ive got a WT 76A Walbro plus some others that have the same 13.49mm venturi and 34 jet.
A friend of mine gets Walbro factory take-offs that I go pick thru from time to time.
What happened to the original carb??

The tuneability (sp?) has been getting erratic of late; now the low speed needle is in all the way and it's still too rich. The filter is clean and I blew out the passages; I don't think there's any gunk in there. I have an identical carb on my A&M 2.6, so I swapped them and now the engine runs again! The needles even make a difference. The 3.2 is as old as dirt; I'm assuming the needles or their seats have become sloppy with time.

You may just need a gasket or repair kit.

Default Brison RC Engines

OR you could buy one from Brison RC Engines already drilled with the throttle arm bolted on. Just a thought.

Default $$ ???

Sorry have no Idea how much, when I worked there they were about $30-$40 dollars. I do know you need to tell Gary or Harvey what model engine you need one for. Old Style AM or new style cantilever crank, it makes a difference as to what linkage you have.

Good Luck

Do you know what there shop rate is if I send it in. I am more inclined to have someone fix it to know that it is right than for me to try and it dies and I total my plane!

Default Shop Rate

I just had my 2.4 over hauled and updated and the shop rate was like $40.00/hr rarely do they ever go over that. Call em and talk to Harvey or Gary. Harvey is the dad and Gary is his son.

I just fixed my problems. Dirt in the metering hole and loose muffler.

Geistware, maybe I missed something. What was the symptom of your problem?

The engine would start but would die when the throttle was advanced. I made all kinds of adjustments but could not get my engine to run right. It would idle but not run above half throttle. A loose muffler was the final problem. I tighten it and sent the needles to the original setting and it ran just great!
