Default SPE 26cc

Hi, I have a SPE 26cc engine. I ran about 15 oz. of gas through it so far mostly idling. The shaft coming out of the motor going to the prop has some play in it (side to side not in and out) I dont know if this play was in it from the start I never really looked for it. Can anybody tell me if this is allright or if anybody here has the same situation? thanks

Graggy,

How much play? If it is safe to run, you can video and post on youtube, so that I can see it. and let you know. Do you mean the play is the radial motion or literally side to side? If you are getting side to side motion only then the front bearing must be loose. If you are getting forward/backward motion as you push on the shaft, then both bearing may be loose. There are other possiblities, but with less frequency. This is like diagnosing sickness over the WEB:-)

Peace,
Steven Chao,
