How Smooth? Da50 vs. ZDZ50
How smooth is the DA 50 compared to the ZDZ 50?
Do either require vibration mounts?
Also, how does customer service compare b/w the 2 companies?
Thanks a lot!
Jason
P.S.- I'm planning a power-plant for a Kangke Texas Hurricaine

DA 50 silky smooth
The DA 50 I have is silky smooth from idle to full throttle. I had a zdz 40 that was also very smooth, I would think the zdz50 is also smooth. ZDZ customer service is very good, any time you need a ign or carb they send it no ? asked. As for DA dave will talk to you on the phone like you are his only customer. The DA50 has not needed any parts after 20 gals . It just runs and runs like Forest Gump.

I have both engines. Both companies provide outstanding service and you can't go wrong with either of them. If you are planning on running a standard or pitts style muffler I would go with the DA (My Favorite) They are both smooth but I will give the edge to the DA. The DA is also easier to tune and seems less fussy. The ZDZ really comes alive if you are planning on running a tuned expansion chamber exhaust and will out perform the DA in that respect. I run both hard mounted and haven't shaken anything loose

What do I need to mount the DA? Anything special (stand-offs, etc...) and where can I get them? (I'm trying to order everything at once...)
Thank you!
