Default Question concerning breaking in a 3W75.

I have a new 3W 75 with about 4 gallons of gas through it. It was running fine with the carburetor settings I had. Now all of a sudden it seems to be running rich again (loading up while idling and burbling when I fly). I leaned the low end some more and it seems a bit better. Do new engines generally need leaning on the low end as they break in?

Thanks

My 3W 50 did this for about 1 gal and then the neddles were steady after that. This was after about 3 gals.
