I am having trouble with my WT-731 carb.[:'(] I can get the engine to start and run from mid-range to Top end. I can't it to idle. [:@]I have replaced all of the seals and diaphram's and it still won't idle.[:'(] I have installed a choke and I have to keep the choke at half just to keep it running at all. I would like to get a new carb, but the WT-731 that is on the engine is no longer avalible. I have tried a WT-433 and a WT-622, but I cannot get them to even pull fuel into the carb. The pulse from the engine to the carb is working just fine. Does anyone know what Walbro carb I can use on the SV-26 or what is the Walbro carb the new SV-26 enignes are using?

Check the crankcase gasket again. I've worked on several of these and the gasket always blows out, and will cause the problem you describe.
I don't think it's a carb problem.

Rich,
If the crack case gasket is bad do you know where I can get another one. I got this engine from hobby city and they no longer carry it.[:'(]

I took the carb off the engine and checked the manifold gasket and case gasket. The case gasket was good, but the manifold gasket did not look to good so I replaced it. I also checked the reed valve for any wear. The reeds looked good. I went ahead and replaced the gas screen in the carb and used my aircompressure along with carb clearner to blow out all of the little gas channels in the carb. I have put everythibg back together and now well see what happens.
My carb that came with the SV-26 is a Walbro 731 and it has a 9.55mm venturi. The WT-694 that Mr Bigg has on his SV-26 has a 12mm venturi. If this does not work I am going to try the WT-694 carb

The reed block on my engine had a couple of small raised edges where the screws to hold the reeds down had been screwed in a little too tight. Hope that explains it.
Anyway, I took it all apart because I could see that the reeds were just not quite laying flat against the block.
A few minutes with some superfine wet and dry sand paper got them good and square (flat) again. I did a check after re-assembly by wetting the contact surfaces between the reed and block and could see it was good now.
I did this before ever running the engine, so I don't know what effect it might have had, but figure it was better to catch it now rather than later.
I also found 1/64" thick gasket material by Felpro at NAPA 18"x36" for $4bucks. This was the thinnest fuel compatible gasket material I have been able to find locally.

Received my SV-26 just 2 weeks ago, and it came with a 694.
Runs good, nice idle.

Hello, where can I find Wabro WT 694 carburetor replacement parts, specially the throtle arm, for my RCS SV26 gasoline engine?
Thanks, Isaias G.
