Ok, I know that Zenoah engines are not the favorite engine in the world but I got one. It's a G-38 and it really rocks. Musta got a goodun'. Had it on an Extra300 but it was too nose heavy and wound up pulling the firewall out and messing up my hand, blah, blah, blah.
Now to get to my question.
What danged plane can I put this anchor in and get it to fly right?
It will turn a 20 X 8APC over 7000 rpm. Produces about 12 million pounds of thrust, ok, maybe only 14 or 15 pounds.
I just don't want to have to spend another $400 or more on another engine when this one runs so well.

Thanks for the reply.
The main thing I am interested in is doing some aerobatics, and just bombing around. I'm not talented enough yet to do any of the 3D stuff, but I will be before too long.
I just want a good large airplane that will handle the G-38's weight and will fly good.
I'm not really into scale or warbirds yet although the P-47 really looks nice. I guess something along the lines of the Extra or the Edge 540. Have looked at the BIG version of the stik's and I like 'em.

The super stik is a very nice plane, and not so expensive.. Well another nice plane is the Supersportster of grate planes... that plane is a bomb but not too big. What about an Extra 300S of grate planes... that is big and very nice... Just some ideas for you ... hope you find yourself a nice plane for the engine, and don't think that the engine is not good, I heard only good things on zenoah... good luck

I recommend a Stinger 120. I have one with a G38 on it right now. Shave 2.5 inched off the nose for the firewall, and you have a sweet machine. I built the kit, so I can't comment on the ARF.
Mine is with the 80" wing. I love it.

I would recommend a Lanier stinger 1.20 too. I have one that I had a Brison 2.4 on, it was a rocket fast or slow it was very stable and fairly aerobatic. It is for sale for $250.00 like new flown about two months.
