Here is a picture of my new SPE 43.
The run time is as follows:
1st run 10 mins between 3000 and 3500 rpm's and with 20 secs near full throttle at only 6700 rpm.
2nd run 10 mins between 3000 and 3800 and with 1 min of full throttle at 6800 rpm.
3rd run filled tank 16oz. run time around 35 mins between 2800 to 4000 and with 2 mins full throttle at 6850 rpm.
I dont know if any of this is any good, just following the suggestions of a few people that fly strickly gassers. But on todays tank I noticed this at when I was putting my stand back into the garage. Is this Normal? Meaning the black oil on the stand.

That's a lot, but it's normal. The black will go away when you switch to a good oil and it's broken in. Which oil is a way to start a war, but there's two that I don't use Amsoil, it makes hard carbon, and Lawnboy=Lawnsluge. I personally use Pennzoil Air Cooled only now, and I stay at 32:1 for ease of carrying only one mix.
My new MT-42 is on the second tank with 6570 rpm using a 20x8 BME running slightly rich, so you're doing good. I think they use the same cylinder, so the difference is probably you using a Zinger.

THanks guys, but Amsoil is what the they suggested. Is it ok to switch oils after this near gallon is used up?

Get it off the stand and mount it on the airplane. Break it in while you're flying it. There's no point in mounting it on a stand. Gas engines are very reliable if you tune them correctly and use appropriate oil.
It'll get more cooling air on a plane than bolted to a test stand.

Mix up some oil at 40:1 mount it in your plane, fly the snot out of it. No long full throttle runs, but lots of throttle changes, no torque rolls for the first couple of gallons of fuel.
What breaks in an engine is the heat cycles, hot/cold/hot etc. NOT long hours on a test stand at 3/4 throttle
