Default Engine ID help...Sachs?

Hi, I got a gas engine in a trade recently - don't have any use for it so I was going to sell it but I'm not sure what to sell it as - aside from "gas engine" Any help identifying it would be appreciated.

It has 86 MAHLE on the side of the head.

Regards,
Steven

It lookes to be a 65-70cc early Quadra they were a cutdown Partner saw. Later they started to have a custom crankcase made. This may be a "Quadra" or a home made cutdown saw..

hmmm, you guys are right...it does look a lot like the Quadra's...at least the exhaust Thanks for your help. I probably just throw it out there for $50 plus shipping to see if anyone wants it. I just don't have the time to mess around with it atm.

my 4.2 sachs also has a mahle but not a 86 it's a 8 G these are on the rear side of cylinder on the front is49zn2 w2 mine has the machined crankcase from aluminum from A&M if these numbers match then the cid. will be 4.2 as the crankcase is a mistery to me !!

Sachs casting numbers (if it is a Mahle cylinder) are:
40 - 2.6 ci
44 - 3.2 ci
47 - 3.7 ci
49 - 4.2 ci <span class="info"> </span>

It's neither a Sach's nor Quadra!     What you have there is a cinverted Weed eater engine, most likely a Echo,or Poulan.

All of you are incorrecrt. the engine is in fact a Magnum 11,  2.5 c,i., from a Homelite Super EZ chainsaw

Sorry this is not a magnum 11. Its a Magnum 111, which never got into production from Contempo. It is a 3.55 cubic inch engine.8 of these were in 4 ea. planes ( 0ne backup)at the 82 T.O.C. in Vegas. Real sure this is correct info, again sorry for the mistake.
