HI
I have a velocity stack attached to my Welbro carb on my G62.
Which direction is the 45 angle of the stack needs to be oriented ?
Starght down
Facing backwards (causing turbulance)
Forward (dont' think so...)
I have been keeping mine pointing backwards, but Iwas afraid of turbulance during high speed flying. Maybe pointing staright down would be better ?
I would like to hear your opinion..

Facing backwards. Extra vacume assists fuel draw at high speed/WOT, right where you want it to.
