Default BME 44 info

Does anyone know the prop shaft size for the BME 44? Would help for prop and spinner selection.

Boy it has been a while since I did a 440 or 50cc motor. Both were the same size and the threads were 5/16-24 IIRC.

The threaded portion of the BME prop shaft is 8 x 1.25mm. Also, there is a 'shoulder' at the base of the prop shaft (part of the hub) that is 7/16". Your spinner backplate will need to be drilled for that, and the back of your prop will need to be 'relieved' a bit for clearance as well.

Cheers -

Manny,
You'll need to make some type of sleeve to use props with 10mm holes. I can show you what Brillelli did for the 46.
