Has anyone ever attempted to bore out a G-38 to increase it's power output? I have a Yellow Spitfire fitted with the venerable G-38. It does fly very scale... but lacks authority.

Rather than going thru the problems of retro fitting a new engine, I thought tricking out the G-38 might be the answer...

Any thought on the idea?

Can't be bored out as they are chrome or nickel plated. Might get more out by puting on a slightly larger carb and enlarging the intake port on the sides to match.
