Default Outstanding Engine Service

My Chinese 50cc dead-sticked after 10 months of great flights. After landing, no compression, front bearing losing grease and very clanky at TDC…It was within warranty, and the dealer said he would be happy to look at it for me…After tearing it down, he found some bearings were shot and the hole in the con rod for the wristpin bearing was a little out-of-round…Even though the piston/cylinder was in good condition, he gave me a short block assembly, reused my carb and muffler, converted to RCexl ignition w/ BPMR6A plug, test-ran it, and priority-mailed it back to me…He doesn’t even carry that line of engine any more (XYZ)…That’s my story about Ron Nesler at http://www.southeastrcengines.com/…He’s a stand up guy, great email communicator, and goes way above and beyond the call of duty for customer service…Ken

I spoke with him and he wasn't happy with the QC and was doing a lot of work behind the scenes to make sure the customers got a respectable product. The factory didn't really seem to be on a path to improve per his requests so he moved on. I am pretty sure they also relased the Turnigy line which had enough more QC issues. Also he was disappointed with the 26cc power.
