Guys, I have a DL50 new in the box for a Extra 330L that is just like the PAU version (not available anymore) but I got it from AKM a couple years ago. Plane is still unfinished too. I am getting the bug to finish it, and am wondering now if the new DLE55 is better enough over the DL50 to warrant getting it, and selling the DL50, or should I just stick with the DL50. This is what happens when I buy something and don't finish it right away...things get out of date. Your input from guys who know both engines from personal experience is appreciated. THANKS. Jon

You can use the DL-50. I have one of each and they are both great. Just make sure you have the column shapped stand off's and not that flat aluminum bar type mounts they had in the beginning. No need to waste money on selling and buying an engine that is identical in performance.
