Default Walbro carb kit ?

Where do I look on the carb to what model it is? My carb needs rebuilding, but I am not sure which one it is? Its on a G 38. I saw on horizon's web site a kit, but I want to make sure it is the same carb.
Thanks
Alan

There should be a number stamped on it. Go to these websites to get the rebuild kit. Dan

The WT#### is what you are looking far

Truth is all the WT and WA carbs take the same repair kit

The number is stamped right next to the nipple you connect the fuel line to, should be a WT then right below that is 3 numbers and maybe a -1, that's the Walbro model number. The diaphragm and gasket kit part number is D20-WAT, the repair kit number is K20-WAT. Most yard equipment repair or a good saw shop should have it in stock.

Jedijoty has the right part numbers for the WTA carbs. Be careful when you replace the parts. There are many different diaphragms and gaskets in the packages and the differences are subtle. Make sure you chose the right ones for your carb. Don't over tighten the four screws holding the diaphragm cover. It will distort the cover and crush the gasket. Dan.

Not exactly...There were 2 carbs used on the G38..
Older G38 with no choke takes a WTA6A, later is WT338 with choke..D10WTA...
Carbs are mirror image, the WTA takes a different kit, the WAT kit won't work...

Sorry, my mistake.

If it's a WTA-6 carb the diaphragm and gasket kit is a D10-WTA, repair kit is K20-WTA. If it's a WT-338, the diaphragm and gasket kit is D10-WAT, repair kit is K20-WAT. Right from the Walbro website.

Ok, so the local repair shop had a repair kit(K20-WTA). Now if I can figure out how all these little parts go in a little carb.
Thanks again guys for all the help.

they aren't all that complicated, the kits come with parts for several different carbs, just match up what you pull from yours to what's in the kit and use those parts...

Here is a YouTube video of a Walbro carb rebuild. It is from a chain saw, but the same as what we use.

Me either. I bought mine at a local repair shop. I should have got a gasket to go between the carb, spacer, and engine. So needless to say we did not fly Sunday.
