Can anyone sugest an electronic ignition that will work on the Evolution 58. besides the $ 250.00 dollor one from Evolution ?

i have an idea.... get a DLE for $300 bucks and you hace a COMPLETE AMAZING engine just for a bit more.

Call CH Ignitions and see what it might take to make a change. Not knocking the DLE, but the Evolution has quite a bit of power and is an excellent engine. I'd get that one fixed.

I second calling CH as T.O.M. suggested. They are very knowledgeable, great to deal with, and make extremely good ignitions for a reasonable price. (much less than the stock one.)

....and the CH ignitions are rebuildable, unlike many of the alternative EI units out there.

Hi my name is Alexis I'am from Puerto Rico I have an Evolution 58 engine to and have the same problem with the ignition.I just want to now if the CH IGNITION realy works becase is less expensive.THANKS.

The C&H ignition is best one on the planet, bar none. It'll be the last one you will ever buy for that engine.
