Diameter of inlet and exhaust of canister muffler
Can you guys tell me what is the approx diameter of the inlet and exhaust pipe for a Canister muffler used for a 50 cc engine ?
Also what kind of coupling material is used between muffler and header?
Thanks

The inlet and outlet can vary by manufacturer and pipe design. For the coupler, go to an area truck and tractor supply and obtain some high temp heater hose. MUCH cheaper than the stuff sold by the pipe people and holds up about 25 times longer.

I fly at Washougal also . However weather this week is definitely bad for flying East Winds are predominant at this time of the year so landings have to down wind due to club rules of landing from left to right .

Typical diameter for 50cc engines would be 25mm pipe OD on header pipe and canister inlet pipe. (mtw TD75, MVVS 58int, JMB etc.)
