RE: DLE 111 RPM numbers??
Brand new out of the box, mine turned 6250. It now (tached Sunday, 10/25, at 72 degrees, 600' MSL) turns 6800 after 8+ gallons, all has been 32:1 93 Octane Ethanol free fuel with Klotz RC ModelLube. Prop in both cases was a WildHare 27B Bunny prop.
Don't have thrust numbers, but it hauls a ~25lb 102.5" WH Edge around like a foamy. Video embedded in [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=9203615]this post[/link] for example.

RE: DLE 111 RPM numbers??
It's not about rpm. Unless you're using exactly the same prop the other guy did when they tached their engine the comparisons for even rpm are useless. I don't mean a same size prop in the same brand and type, but the one that came off the other engine. If you're talking performance you should be talking torque and thrust. HP might even come into play if it's measured at a useful rpm and at the same rpm as the other engine.
I've been reading all the rpm comparisons for years now and the continued comparisons between this and that engine on this or that prop using this or that oil at this or that oil ratio are meaningless. One thing I do know is that the 111 delivers more torque and power in the same rpm bands as any 100cc engine on the market. Note I said 100cc, not 115, 120, 106, or 105. Trust I know EXACTLY what a DA 100 delivers in torque, HP, and other performance parameters on a given prop.

RE: DLE 111 RPM numbers??
FWIW I have just swopped out my DL100 for a DLE111 in my EF YAK and as one would expect there is an appreciable power increase. I have also run a DA100 in this bird and it was very similar to the DL100.
TOM is right about RPMs, they are pretty meaningless. I tached the 111 (about a gallon through it) with a 3W 27x10 and it gave the same numbers as with the fully run in DL100, but in the air there is a load more thrust. Before I needed to use full throttle on my IMAC schedules a lot more than I do now with the 111 - hover pull out is much punchier. I put a Mejzlick 28x10 and did get an increase of RPM on the ground, in the air it was howling!!! It would rip with the 100 setup but now is ripping most of the time and too much noise for where I fly[>:]
I am running Zimmerman canisters and so far very happy with the performance increase - maybe I should try some pipes
