I have a converted-to-gas SuperTigre 3200 that has a different ignition on it. My buddy says he got it from someone named Crabil?. It is a homemade looking thing covered with heat-shrink. Has a hole in the heat-shrink to access a potentiometer. Also has a separate coil for the plug. It is made for the little 1/4x32 plugs. My question is: Where do you set the magnet pickup switch? The bracket is plastic and it has fatigued and broken. I'm guessing the switch will be at TDC, and the spark is set with the pot, but I would like confirmation from some of the more experienced forum members(Iwon't say "older" ;-) ) who may have run into this. TIA

You'll want to get with CH-Ignitions.com or PM 'TKG' or 'BCCHI' here on the forums. I'm sure they've either seen it or heard of it...either way, they would be one of the best suited to get you running right. I personally have never heard of this one. Have any pictures you can post?

You have a Pro Spark, the adjustment is the total advance. You set sensor timing around 0-5 deg BTDC.
NEVER, NEVER power up the ignition with out the coil hooked up and a properly grounded spark plug.
