Default Increase Idle

I have a DA-50 and I am wondering if this is an indication of a tuning problem. When I start the engine it idles at one RPM. But by the time I land the RPM is way up and I have to run my throttle trim down. Why does the idle speed increase? Is it not tuned right or should I be concerned the engine is overheating?
