hello all,
i've got this engine on pipe (ks 1060) with mejzlik 22*12 two blades, do you know what should be rpm on that prop ? it is for next year on my EF yak but i wonder the result, i have no experience withe pipe and want to fly precision, not 3D.
thank you
Stephane

Hi,
A good 50cc engine turns a 22x8 at about 7000-7500rpm with a bolt-on muffler. When using a tuned quiet pipe the power output and torque becomes much higher so the engine can turn a 22x10 or 23x8 at the same rpm. A good guess is that a 22x12 will turn about 6500rpm but make sure the pipe header is long for smooth running behaviour.

thank's flyer,
i hope it will be better than 6500 rpm with 22*12 mejzlick, because i've seen here my engine turn 22*10 mejzlick @7400 rpm on my pipe, perhaps 6900 rpm on 22*12 ?
